Successful Lifelong Learning

Pinner Village Hall, HA5 1AA Pinner

About

An in-person evening talk about how people learn and why learning sometimes does not work. It is organised by Brain Abilitiez and led by its founder, Shammi Khalis, who explores the barriers to successful learning and performance. The session looks at how the brain learns, why someone can be intelligent yet struggle to learn, remember or concentrate, and offers practical principles drawn from neuroscience and cognitive development. It is aimed at students, parents, teachers, professionals and anyone wanting to get more from their brain, including those supporting people with labels such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Dyscalculia and ASD.
