Touch Tours give visually impaired and blind visitors a special opportunity to engage with selected artworks from the Tate collection displays. Delivered by two Visitor Engagement Assistant Touch Tour Guides, each tour includes around three artworks, combining audio description, touching artworks and handling objects, with a focus on conversation about the art. Weekly bookable tours are designed for one visually impaired visitor and one sighted carer or companion. Advance booking is essential by phone.
