Teens Creative Writing Club – Forest Hill Library

A free creative writing workshop group for writers aged 14-18, meeting monthly in the community room at Forest Hill Library. It is run by Calico Libraries as part of their programme. Sessions include a warm-up, reading examples of mostly contemporary writing in many genres, forms and styles, talk about technique, and time to write together over biscuits and tea. Last year's writers contributed to a published pamphlet and performed at a showcase, which the group hopes to repeat.
