An evening at the bookshop Nomad Books celebrating footballer Pelé with the publication of the book Epic: The Many Lives of Pelé. Sports journalist Andrew Downie, whose book draws on nearly eight years of research and more than 250 interviews to reveal the man behind the legend, will be in conversation with former Fulham FC player Les Strong. The two will revisit the historic 1973 exhibition match in which Pelé's Santos faced Fulham FC at Craven Cottage, Fulham winning 2–1, and will then open the conversation to questions from the audience. Entry is free, but RSVP is essential as spaces are limited.
