About
The Mission: Gods Own Medicine 40th Anniversary Shows is a live concert by the English band The Mission at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. The band formed in Leeds in 1982 and made their name in the post-punk and gothic rock scenes, combining atmospheric guitar work with the emotive vocals of singer Wayne Hussey. The shows celebrate almost four decades of the band's anthemic repertoire and their lasting influence on gothic and alternative rock. The event is one of several nights the band plays at the venue in early November.
