About
An online talk hosted by the Freud Museum London, where novelist Chloe Aridjis discusses her latest book 'The Shadow of the Object' with writer and critic Devorah Baum. The novel explores the emotional and psychological traces that objects leave behind, following Flora, a woman who meets an elderly German woman in hospital and is later entrusted with an important mission. The conversation covers memory, fantasy, the unconscious and the relationship between psychoanalysis and fiction. Registrants join via Zoom and receive access to the recording afterwards.
