Thursday evening Research Seminar
Birkbeck College, WC1E 7HX London, Bloomsbury
About
A research seminar in philosophy held at Birkbeck, 43 Gordon Square, Room BO3. It is open to all Birkbeck postgraduate research students and led by a member of the faculty, who presents the first paper of the term. At the remaining seminars the students themselves speak, presenting papers on their own research, with the faculty member chairing the discussion that follows. Attendance is seen as an important part of being a research student, giving students the chance to try out their ideas on their peers and defend them in discussion.
