Wild Horse Nine
About
A cinema screening of "Wild Horse Nine", followed by a question-and-answer session with Martin McDonagh, as announced by the programme. The film, made by McDonagh, is his follow-up to The Banshees of Inisherin. Shortly before the 1973 Chilean coup, CIA agents Chris (John Malkovich) and Lee (Sam Rockwell) are sent from Santiago to Easter Island by their bureau chief, MJ (Steve Buscemi), where Chris's bond with two rebellious students threatens to send everyone's trip sideways. The cast also includes Parker Posey and Tom Waits.

Critics
Critics praise the electric performances, especially Malkovich, and the sharp rhythm of the screenplay. They fault excessive violence and strained machismo that dilute the comedy and charm.
