About
The Women's Voices Shorts Programme brings together four short films by Korean women filmmakers, screened as part of the London Korean Film Festival 2026. The directors Wi Eun-kyoung and Son Gwang-min, Chang Seoyun, Seo Saerom and Bae Issac, and Choi Eunsoo present stories spanning fiction, documentary and animation. The films follow, among others, a pet groomer reunited with her niece, a young woman facing premature menopause, an art student afraid of touch, and a schoolgirl who wants to play football. The programme shares a determination to carve out paths of their own while delivering the pleasures of diverse genres and forms, with a total runtime of 84 minutes.
