About
A talk at Albertine Books, a bookstore that is a project of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy, where Gaël Faye discusses his new book Jacaranda with Peter Godwin. Faye is a Rwandan-French novelist, songwriter, and hip-hop artist whose new novel follows Milan, a boy in France whose family ties to Rwanda draw him back repeatedly to uncover family secrets and confront the past. Godwin is a Zimbabwe-born journalist and author of six non-fiction books, including Mukiwa and When a Crocodile Eats the Sun. The event is in English and free with an RSVP.
