About
At the Hearth is a drop-in program of live viola, cello, and keyboard music held in the museum's historic Carnegie Library. Rachel Feldhaus on viola, ROHANA on cello, and Warner Meadows on keyboard and electronics will improvise together in their distinct styles of classical, folk, jazz, and experimental music. Alexandra Hodkowski, Curator of Public Programs, will give a welcome. Hosted by Cooper Hewitt curators, educators, conservators, and librarians, the hour invites visitors to sit by the fireplace, listen, and ask questions.
