Banned Together: documentary on students fighting book bans.

Banned Together follows three students and their adult allies as they launch a grassroots campaign to restore 97 books suddenly removed from their libraries. As their fight against the book bans gains national attention, they discover the power of student activism and collective action. The screening is part of a free film program for middle and high school classes in which students and teachers view award-winning documentaries exploring current social issues, followed by a discussion and a pizza lunch.
