Ba’sik Jazz Jam Session is a jam session where guests can sip sake and sit in on jazz standards, bringing an instrument or just their ears. It is curated by Matt La Von and powered by Keyed Up Jazz, and has found a new home at Kato Sake Works. The taproom, which is not a music venue, offers an experience like a coffee shop or house show, with a small stage and tunes while sipping a glass of sake. Music is a big part of life at the brewery alongside sake making, as the best way to enjoy the sake is while listening to great music.
