Big Lazy

Big Lazy is an instrumental trio playing their own brand of noir and twang, mixing Blues, Jazz, Surf and Rockabilly with electric guitar, acoustic bass and drums. The band, a fixture of New York's downtown music scene for over two decades, consists of Stephen Ulrich on guitar, Andrew Hall on bass and Yayo Serka on drums. Ulrich, the trio's founder, is the composer for the HBO series Bored to Death and released the solo album Music from This American Life in 2023. They play two sets of what The New Yorker calls stunningly beautiful music, elegantly gritty and evocative.
