About
Confirmation Class Meeting is an informational meeting for a Confirmation Class that Christ Church NYC will offer starting in December for youth ages twelve through sixteen. From December through May, participants learn about the fundamentals of Christian faith, the history and values of the United Methodist Church, and what it means to be a member of Christ Church. The class is led by Lydia Prather along with other CCNYC staff and leaders, and each participant is paired with a sponsor member of the church as a mentor and friend. Through games, service projects, and discussion, participants get to know each other, themselves, and their faith better.
