CUNY-wide Transgender Day of Remembrance vigil and panel.

The CUNY-WIDE Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil is a gathering to remember and honor those whose lives were lost as a result of anti-transgender bigotry and violence. It is held by the CUNY LGBTQI+ Council and the CUNY LGBTQIA+ Institute, with funding from the New York City Council and support from the LaGuardia and Wagner Archives. The day also uplifts the community, especially transgender, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming folks of color. In tradition with previous vigils, Transgender and Nonbinary student voices are centered through a panel discussion.
