EIPM Special Seminar: "Counting What Matters: Quantitative Spatial Proteomics for Complex Tissues" with James R. Mansfield
Weill Medical College of Cornell University, Manhattan
About
EIPM Special Seminar: "Counting What Matters: Quantitative Spatial Proteomics for Complex Tissues" is a scientific seminar with a following Q&A session, held in the Greenberg Center rooms WGC-A & B at Weill Cornell Medicine and also available as a hybrid stream. The speaker is James R. Mansfield, Vice President of Imaging at Standard BioTools, a scientist with over 30 years of experience in biomedical imaging and the past two decades focused on multiplex pathology. His talk covers Imaging Mass Cytometry, which measures more than 40 proteins in a single pass with no spectral overlap, and how it can quantify complex cell types like cancer-associated fibroblasts and tumor-associated macrophages, support antibody-drug conjugate analysis, and combine with other methods for same-slide multiomics. IMC is already available at Weill Cornell through the Human Immune Monitoring Core, and the talk explains how these tools work together.
