Ethical-izing Holiday Celebrations Workshop Series (Online)
New York Society for Ethical Culture Hall, West 64th Street 2, New York, Manhattan
About
This three-part online workshop series offers practical ways to rethink familiar holiday celebrations with greater ethical intention, exploring issues of sustainability, waste, food, commercialism, and competition. It is led by Audrey Kindred, AEU Leader in Training and Children, Youth, and Family program leader at the New York Society for Ethical Culture, and Anne Klaeysen, Leader Emerita of that society and former Leader of the Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island. Participants explore creative approaches to planning holidays with more integrity, sustainability, and joy. The sessions meet on Zoom on the first Wednesday of October, November, and December, and you can register for one, two, or all three.
