About
Fall Family Discovery Weekends is a drop-in outdoor program at Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Discovery Garden, where families with children of all ages can learn and play together. Hands-on stations across the garden's courtyard, meadow, woodland, and marsh invite families to explore nature alongside volunteer educators and teenage Garden apprentices. The program runs Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 through October 31, 2026, with some dates excluded, and is canceled in inclement weather such as rain or temperatures below 50 degrees. Admission to the Garden includes the program.
