About

An evening of live music presenting 'Miel y Limón', the forthcoming album by Farah Siraj, in an album release concert. The Jordanian vocalist, named Jordan's 'Musical Ambassadress', blends Middle Eastern traditions with jazz and flamenco, and is joined by the Latin Grammy-winning Spanish guitarist and producer Javier Limón, who produced the album, as well as guest artist Frank Maza. The album, whose title means 'Honey and Lemon' in Spanish, or 'Asal w Leimoon' in Arabic, unites Siraj's Jordanian roots with her ancestral connection to flamenco in an Arabian flamenco style, exploring love, longing, resilience and human connection through lush vocals, flamenco guitar and richly textured arrangements.
