About
A live show at Bar LunAtico led by Fred Thomas, the Brooklyn-based bassist and singer who played in James Brown's band, the J.B.'s. With his own band, he sings and plays bass through a mix of blues and soul classics and J.B.'s hits such as "Hot Pants," "Pass the Peas" and "Doing it to Death." He is joined by Gabriel Caplan and Dominic James on guitars, Andy Bauer on drums, Kaori Kiki Nakajima on sax and Tyrone Cox on trumpet. An album of original material is on the way.
