Gottesman Rink Opening Day Celebration

The Gottesman Rink Opening Day Celebration kicks off the skating season at the Gottesman Rink in Central Park. The Central Park Conservancy invites skaters of all ages to mark the start of winter fun on the ice, with a free trial group lesson led by United States Figure Skating–certified coaches in the morning. From noon, public skating sessions run with music from a live DJ and appearances by costumed characters, and a surprise guest performs on the ice shortly before. Those who don't skate can visit the Davis Center's indoor gathering space for Community Day with food, free swag, and views of the skating.
