Union Theological Seminary celebrates the installation of Rev. Dr. Cláudio Carvalhaes as the Marilyn Seven Endowed Chair in Religion & the Arts. The newly-founded chair marks Union's commitment to the arts as a vital way of knowing, worshiping, and imagining a more just world. Dr. Carvalhaes, a theologian, liturgist, and artist, has long brought together worship, performance, and justice. The evening of gratitude and celebration takes place in James Chapel and online, and all are welcome.
