An interfaith vigil for people detained by ICE at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center, where over 200 persons are being held. It is hosted weekly by Indivisible Brooklyn and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Bay Ridge, and members of St. John - St. Matthew-Emanuel attend together as a group on the third Tuesday of each month. The gathering at 29th St. and 3rd Ave. includes singing, reflections on current events, and prayer, showing support and solidarity with detained neighbors.
