JCC + Parents League Panel

An in-person panel of education attorneys and clinical neuropsychologists for parents whose child may not be meeting developmental milestones or is struggling in school. It is presented by Parents League of New York and the Center for Diverse Abilities at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan. The session covers identifying concerns, understanding your child's rights, navigating evaluations and special education services, and advocating for appropriate support, with practical information and guidance on possible next steps. The moderator is Chantal Alflalo, Parents League Special Education Advisor, with panelists Anna Ward Goodearl of Lenox Hill Hospital of Northwell Health and Pramataris & Associates, and Greg Cangiano and Sonia Castro, both partners at Skyer Law.
