About

Justin Caguiat: Change Ringing is an exhibition bringing together painting, sculpture, printmaking, sound and film by the artist Justin Caguiat. It is the first UK institutional exhibition of his new and recent works, and an evolution of his project Zodiac Machine in Madrid. Heat-responsive pigments make the works constantly change color, while bronze bells cast in the shapes of flowers and plant seeds chime to a score by Lily Pickett based on English change ringing. The exhibition continues Caguiat's exploration of sacred spaces and urban infrastructure, influenced by the Spanish architect Justo Gallego Martínez and his Catedral de Justo.
