About

THE CLOSED MIC – AMATEUR COMEDY SHOW is not an average open mic but an exclusive, curated comedy showcase at Eastville Comedy Club & Bar in Brooklyn. Up-and-coming comedians sign up online in advance—only 10 spots are available, with no walk-ins—and each selected performer gets 5 minutes of stage time for $7 to test fresh material in front of a live audience. The late-night show is hosted by Avery Mason, and with a featured host and a carefully selected lineup it has the energy of a real comedy show, giving performers the chance to connect with an audience and make their material stand out.
