Leenalchi at Pioneer Works, Brooklyn

Leenalchi, a seven-piece alternative pop/rock band from Seoul, plays their Brooklyn debut at Pioneer Works. The band is co-presented by World Music Institute and Pioneer Works. Led by bassist and film composer Jang Young Gyu, they reimagine pansori, a traditional Korean musical storytelling style, as bass-heavy synth-rock. Their lineup features two bassists, drums, keys and four vocalists: Ahn Yi Ho, Park Soo Bum, Ra Seo Jin, and Choi Su In.
