About

Lunch with the League of Women Voters: ‘AI and Democracy’ with Benjamin Jackson is an interactive fireside chat where anyone in the room can be a panelist. The League of Women Voters of New York City hosts it, joined by Benjamin Jackson, an AI engineer, executive coach, and writer about technology. The discussion covers how and why AI has become the most unifying, bipartisan issue of 2026, including how data centers became the focal point, how AI is impacting labor markets, and why AI companies seem out of touch with the public.
