About

An open discussion for New York City filmmakers, part of the first “Made in NY” Filmmaker Listening Tour across the five boroughs. Commissioner Rafael Espinal and Deputy Commissioner of the Film Office Kwame Amouku, from the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, will share updates on the office's services, city resources, and production incentives. Filmmakers are then invited to give direct feedback on their experiences, challenges, and needs while filming on the city's streets. It is hosted by Queens World Film Festival as part of their First Amendment Film & Arts Festival, and admission is free with RSVP.
