Media Studio: Spooky Photography Challenge

Woodstock Library, East 160th Street 761, 10456 Bronx, The Bronx

About

Media Studio: Spooky Photography Challenge is a hands-on photography program for teens aged 13 to 18 at Woodstock Library. It is run by the library, which is part of The New York Public Library. Participants grab a DSLR camera and take on creative challenges exploring shadows, lighting, perspective, atmosphere, and visual storytelling. Rather than just taking pictures, they experiment with how an image can communicate a mood or tell a story, using spooky fiction, graphic novels, manga, and mystery books from the library's collection as inspiration.
