Midnight

Midnight is an original musical about twelve interconnected lives in the American South of the 19th century. It was written by, and stars, Todrick Hall, who also directs it and wrote its songs. Six Black and six white characters navigate divisions of class and race as their country changes around them, with friendships, romances and beliefs tested. A sung-through score spanning gospel, rhythm and blues, pop, rock, folk, opera and musical theatre carries love, identity and empathy across boundaries.
