Tickets start at $250
About
An autumn cocktail reception by the National Council of Jewish Women New York, featuring journalist Irin Carmon in conversation with board vice president Meredith Barnett about her new book, Unbearable: Five Women and the Perils of Pregnancy in America. Proceeds benefit the organization's Pregnancy Loss Support Program, which for more than 40 years has supported parents after miscarriage, stillbirth, or newborn death through trained volunteer counselors who have experienced loss themselves. Proceeds also further NCJW NY's work for social justice and empowerment for historically excluded and underserved people in New York City and state.
