About
A Halloween edition of NYC's PUNDERDOME®, a comedy pun-slam competition with a pun contest and a pun-costume contest. It was founded by Fred, a Rodney Dangerfield impersonator, and his alleged daughter, comedian Jo Firestone, and has been part of New York's comedy scene since May 2011. The evening includes the ALL-STAR TOURNAMENT OF PUN CHAMPIONS with two-minute pun-stand-up routines prepared in only two minutes, a one-on-one pun-off against the reigning champ, and a sign-up pun battle royale. Judges pick winners by audience applause measured with the so-called Human Clap-O-Meter.
