Open Sew at The Castle

$8 BHS members; $10 non-members
About
Open Sew at The Castle is an afternoon gathering for people who sew, quilt, or enjoy handwork such as embroidery or knitting, bringing their own projects to work on together. It is hosted by the Bayside Historical Society, whose members meet in the sunlit upstairs Castle reception hall with views of open fields and Little Neck Bay. It is not a sewing class, but beginners are welcome and can find tips and inspiration from others; handwork of all kinds is encouraged, and attendees should bring their own sewing machine if possible, as only a limited number are available.
