Parcel From America: a Christmas musical for retirees.

A musical for retirees at the New York Irish Center. The show tells of a young boy and a lonely widow in a remote parish in the west of Ireland, and a special parcel that changes the lives of the whole community and carries them into the heart of Christmas. It is inspired by the history of Irish emigration and the parcels of clothing and dollars sent across the Atlantic by loved ones, celebrating the old adage that it is only in the shelter of our neighbors that we all can live.
