About
Piano Karaoke with Brandon Reeves is a live sing-along night where guests pick songs from the pianist's request list and he plays them on the piano. Behind it is Brandon Reeves, a.k.a. "Steely Bran," a professional pianist, drummer, and singer whose style blends blues, ragtime, stride, boogie, rock n' roll, and above all the funk and rhythm-and-blues sounds of New Orleans. He also serves as the Hammond B3 organist at Conquering King Missionary Baptist in Detroit and teaches piano and drums privately. With a wide repertoire of old and new music, he can take just about any request, and if a song is not on the list, attendees can simply ask.
