About
Piano Karaoke with Dan Neustadt is a night where guests sing their favorite songs while Dan plays the piano; you check out his song list and make a request. Dan Neustadt, a keyboardist, singer-songwriter and arrancer known from The Hold Steady, World/Inferno Friendship Society and Northern Bells, is behind it. He once played stride-piano covers of indie rock singles at the Manhattan Inn and created Off The Record, a NYC and DC concert series of cover-to-cover instrumentals of seminal rock albums. A press listing promoting him as 'Dan Neustadt Plays Your Favorite Albums By Your Favorite Bands' once quipped, 'No, he's not kidding.'
