Picture Book Magic: storytime and a geese craft.

Picture Book Magic! is a creative workshop for children and families featuring a story read-aloud and a related arts workshop, with all art materials and one personalized copy of the featured book per family included. This session hosts author and illustrator E.B. Goodale, an Original Art Silver Medalist, reading her book Snow Geese Season, written by Angela Burke Kunkel. The book tells of a boy caught between two homes who finds peace and belonging with his grandfather and the snow geese that return each year. Attendees make a snow geese paper craft using Goodale's own stencils, adding details and ribbons to turn the geese into 'hats' or necklaces, followed by a personalized book signing.
