Puma Perl Band / SoulCake

A night of live music at 11th Street Bar pairing spoken word with rock and roll. Puma Perl Band, together for over ten years, sets Puma Perl's poetry to music by Joff Wilson on guitar, Joe Sztabnik on bass, and Dave Donen on percussion, with guests often joining on instruments from sax to violin. SoulCake is led by singer/songwriter/guitarist Joff Wilson, with Laura Sativa on flute and percussion and Sarafe on bass, and is known for fun, surprise-filled shows with unannounced guests and fresh takes on audience favorites. Both acts grew out of the NYC downtown scene and have performed across the United States and Europe.
