About
Sagematch is a PowerPoint comedy competition where four comedians and scientists create and deliver slide decks on the spot from audience-suggested topics, with games like Wheels of Fate and Buckets of Truth, as part of the 2026 New York Comedy Festival. It is hosted by Ben Taylor and held at Caveat, whose way of running such shows it follows. Competitors include Alex Burr, Jerzy Gwiazdowski, Casey Lardner and Hampton Humber, with a tenure committee of Paula Croxson, Josh Nasser, Lina Zikas and Amy Muller, and a halftime show by Ben Lillie. The audience decides which contender wins.
