About
A series of group meetings for children designed to help advance their social skills. It is a workshop for Israeli children who speak Hebrew, ages 4 to 16, who need support in a range of emotional and social skills and in bridging cultural gaps. In a small, inclusive group setting, children practice social situations, problem solving, social play and emotional-social conversation through games, art and fun. It is led by Karen Yuval, a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist with a master's degree in drama therapy from New York University and experience leading children's groups in therapeutic programs in New York; the series consists of six Thursday meetings at $300 per series, with scholarships available if needed.
