About

Sunset Park Community Conversation is a community gathering where people share what they love about the neighborhood and what it needs, to help shape how the Sunset Park Fund invests money back into the community. It is organized by Brooklyn Org together with the Office of Councilmember Alexa Avilés and the New York City Economic Development Corporation, and hosted by UPROSE. It is open to all who live or work in Sunset Park, and food and translation in Spanish and Chinese are provided. Input gathered in Fall 2026 will help shape the structure and priorities of the fund.
