About
The Hugh Pool Band plays a monthly residency show at 11th Street Bar. Hugh Pool, a musician, songwriter, producer and member of the New York Blues Hall of Fame, plays guitar in a style melding traditional Delta blues, country and classic and psychedelic rock and roll, often on a National Steel Triolian resonator played with a spark plug wrench. He also plays harmonica, banjo, lap steel, mandolin and sings, joined by Ken Rich on bass and either Keith Robinson or James Wormsworth on drums.
