The Workout | New York Comedy Festival | Fri Nov 6 · 8 PM

The Workout is a nightly comedy series during the New York Comedy Festival, described as the festival's official warm-up room. It is run by Funny People At at Upper East Side Comedy Club, which the page calls the festival's official Workout Room. Festival headliners drop in between their theater dates to test brand-new material and road-map upcoming specials, while New York's best up-and-coming comics deliver their most polished sets. Every big comedy special starts in a small room like this one, the page says, where an audience gets to be first.
