About

Weekly Torah Study with rotating clergy is a weekly study group held ahead of Shabbat at Sutton Place Synagogue. The group reviews the weekly sedra (Torah reading) to become familiar with foundational laws and stories and to discuss their themes. The session is led by rotating members of the synagogue's clergy and welcomes learners of all backgrounds and levels of familiarity with the text. Hard questions are embraced, and attendees should check the website and weekly emails for off weeks.
