About

Writing Life Workshop: Readings for Writers is a monthly workshop for working writers, held in the library's Whitridge Room. It is conceived and led by Audrey Gray, a national magazine journalist who has written for The Guardian, Mother Jones, The New Republic, and Architectural Digest. Each month the group reads aloud passages of nonfiction, fiction, and occasional poetry that elevate a writing tool such as clarity, humor, structure, or daily routines. It is not a critique session of participants' work, and no preparation is necessary.
