About

The 34. Kantstraßen Demo is a demonstration for safe streets, liveable neighbourhoods and a transport policy for everyone. It is a response to the senate's plans to paint out bike lanes, scrap 30 km/h speed limits and sacrifice safe streets for more car lanes and parking spaces. The demo is organised by VCD Nordost e.V., the German Transport Club. It takes place every Monday, with the meeting point at Savignyplatz.
