About
'Ägypten ganz nah ... folge dem Skarabäus Scheri' is a seek-and-find game through the Egyptian Museum Berlin, in which young and old visitors go on a treasure hunt for the secrets of the artworks. It is run by members of the Verein zur Förderung des Ägyptischen Museums Berlin e. V. (friends' association); for three years now the scarab Scheri has accompanied the explorers, telling his friend, the tourist Paul, about ancient Egypt. The game, available in German and English, is aimed at two age groups (6–11 years and 12 plus adults) and handed out between 11:00 and 15:30. At the end every participant can dig a small present out of the desert sand; admission is free up to the age of 18.
