About
„Berlin archäoLogisch!“ is an exhibition talk for families at PETRI Berlin. It is offered by the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte of the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, as part of the exhibition "Entdecke die Archäologie. Vom Fund bis zur Ausstellung im PETRI Berlin". Together, visitors search for traces of medieval Berlin at Petriplatz, where the walls of a 700-year-old school and the lost Petrikirche lie and the dead from the churchyard reveal how the city began. The talk also explores how archaeological finds are recognised and what happens after excavation, looking at the workshops where finds are cleaned, sorted and restored.
